Seven esteemed professionals from across the marine industry are confirmed to give keynote speeches at the highly anticipated inaugural International Conference on Marine Engineering and Technology Oman (ICMET Oman).
The 2-day conference, organised by the Military Technological College (MTC), in collaboration with the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST), will be held in Muscat, Oman from 5-7 November 2019.
The conference will explore innovative solutions to the future needs of the marine engineering and technology sectors, exploring topics from shipbuilding and sustainability to safe automation and cyber security.

About Military Technological College, Oman
Following a directive by His Majesty, Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the supreme commander of the Oman Armed Forces, the Military Technological College (MTC) was created with the intent on becoming a Center of Excellence in the unique provision of education and training for Ministry of Defence (MoD) and civilian technicians and engineers in Oman. In 2013, The College started providing education for military and civilian personnel in a single technological college of a higher learning. The College is amongst the best in the field of military and applied non-military technical education and training providers, delivering all MoD technician education and training to meet Omani Operational Performance Standards (OOPS) and external awards requirements.

About the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST)
The IMarEST is an international learned society and membership body that brings marine engineers, marine scientists and marine technologists together into one multi-disciplinary professional body.
